The intricacies of complex lawsuits require extensive knowledge of the legal precedent. But they also demand a high level of skill in every discipline needed to succeed at trial, such as analyzing technical reports and deposing expert witnesses. A deep level of experience in every aspect of the legal process is what earns Pribanic & Pribanic the reputation as a top litigation firm.

“Every case that we accept is prepared for trial,” says Victor H. Pribanic, founder and president. “If it settles before trial with a number that’s reasonable, fair, and safe for the client, fine. But we pursue the best possible result for our clients, inside and outside the courtroom.”

Lawyer of the Year

Having tried cases across Pennsylvania and the Midwest since 1980, Pribanic has earned a reputation as a fierce legal advocate. His most recent accolade as “Lawyer of the Year” for Product Liability
Litigation – Plaintiff underscores his commitment to his clients. With 95 percent of his time devoted to litigation, Pribanic believes being in the courtroom is essential to keeping his legal abilities
current and effective. And recent notable seven-figure and eight-figure settlements and verdicts prove he’s providing his clients with stellar representation. A $103 million accounting malpractice verdict, a $2.2 million defamation verdict, and a $1.175 million products liability verdict against General Motors are just a few. Pribanic is a lifelong member of the American Association for Justice, the Pennsylvania Association of Trial Lawyers, and the Academy of Trial lawyers of Allegheny County. He frequently shares his hardwon lessons with other lawyers as a presenter and lecturer.

Meeting legal challenges

Founded in 1984, the firm has tried more than 120 cases in several practice areas, including medical malpractice, defective products, motor vehicle crashes, and drug and chemical company liability.
Rated AV Preeminent by Martindale-Hubbell for the highest legal ability and ethical standards, the firm has earned a number of other professional awards for outstanding legal service. Pribanic prefers to “let the results speak for themselves.” “The law—and in the courtroom in particular—is where experience really does matter,” he says. “It’s an evolving challenge to do the right thing by our clients, so we continue to learn. We know how to do things and how not to do things, and we’re more successful for our clients because we continue to develop our craft.”
